Material information:

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture making, offering a number of advantages over other materials. It is extremely wear-resistant, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. In addition to the properties mentioned above, the metal may have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial activity (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
• Particleboard: Particleboard, known as chipboard, is a composite wood material made from small pieces of wood, usually pine or spruce, glued together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in the manufacture of furniture, interior surfaces and structural applications. It is made from recycled materials and is resistant to bends, abrasions and other natural stresses.
• Melamine: LPB Melamine (Low Pressure Melamine) is a synthetic material widely used in the surface treatment of chipboard in the manufacture of furniture and surfaces, due to its durability and ease of maintenance. It is applied to substrates such as MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) or OSB plywood to produce durable surfaces.
• MDF: MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) is a wood derivative. For its production, resins (glues) are used to weld the wood fibers which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and durable. It also does not absorb any moisture.
• PU: PU is imitation leather and usually refers to the polymer Polyurethane (Polyurethane), a material widely used in many fields due to its excellent properties. It has satisfactory durability, is easy to clean, is waterproof, does not deform and is environmentally friendly.
• PP : Polypropylene (PP), is a thermoplastic material widely used in many fields due to its excellent properties. Although it is lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications that require shock and abrasion resistance. It maintains its properties even under the influence of humidity, making it suitable for applications in environments with high humidity.

Maintenance instructions:

• Metal: If it’s any indoor metal, a regular dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth is the way to go.
• Chipboard: To clean chipboard, you can use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
• Melamine: One of the most well-known materials in the field of furniture is melamine. To remove stains from the surface, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from water.
• MDF: To clean it use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe up any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
• PU: Use a soft cloth to remove any dust from the surface. For stains use warm water and mild soap and wipe the area. Always dry the surface afterwards with a dry cloth to avoid water marks.
• PP: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge, lightly dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Spread the cloth over its surface and clean by applying light pressure.
