• Backrest and seat made from polypropylene (PP) with high durability and wear resistance. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material belonging to the plastic group. It is one of the most widely used plastics and has excellent properties.
• Supported by 4 metal legs (23mm) in natural color, of high quality and durability in weight and time.

Material Information:

• MDF: Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is a wood-based product. Its production involves the use of resins (adhesives) to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with specialized heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and has higher durability. It does not absorb moisture.
• PP: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in various applications due to its excellent properties. Although lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring durability against impacts and abrasion. It retains its properties even in high humidity environments.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a range of benefits over other materials. It is highly resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure excellently, ensuring stability and longevity. Metal can also have other characteristics such as antimicrobial properties (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Material Maintenance Instructions:

• MDF: To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, dry the surface with a clean cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to protect it from humidity. Wipe off any moisture immediately. Avoid using strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage MDF.
• PP: For regular cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge lightly dampened with mild detergent and warm water. Apply the cloth to the surface and clean with light pressure.
• Metal: For any indoor metal, regular dusting or wiping with a damp cloth is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
  • For longer protection, apply a protective cream, available at commercial stores.
  • If your furniture is coated with powder-coating (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
  • If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, take extra care to keep it away from water and humidity. Cover it with special covers and, if possible, move it indoors during winter.
  • If rust is observed, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting with a rust-resistant paint.
