Material information:

• MDF: MDF (Medium-density fibreboard) is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used to bond the wood fibers, which are then compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to strength. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture at all.
•  PP: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in many fields due to its excellent properties. Although lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring resistance to knocks and abrasion. It retains its properties even under moisture, making it suitable for use in high-humidity environments.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture making, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. In addition to the above-mentioned properties, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Material care instructions:

• MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, dry the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
• PP: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge slightly moistened with mild detergent and warm water. Apply the cloth to the surface and clean with light pressure.
• Metal: If it is any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the recommended choice.

However, if it is outdoor metal furniture, you should follow the steps below:

1. For longer-lasting protection, treat your metal furniture with protective cream, which you can easily obtain from commercial stores.
2. If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
3. If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic painting, then you need to take extra care and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers and store it indoors during winter if possible.
4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
