Material Information

• MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard): MDF is a wood-based product. Its production involves resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, which are then compressed using special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and more resistant to wear, and it does not absorb moisture at all.
• Sintered Stone: A synthetic material made by blending natural minerals and stones such as quartz, feldspar, and aluminum, then exposing them to high temperatures and pressure. This process mimics the natural geological lithification process, producing an extremely dense, durable, and non-porous material. Its versatility in design and application makes it ideal for a variety of uses.
• Metal: Widely used in furniture manufacturing, metal offers numerous advantages over other materials. It is highly resistant to wear, ideal for everyday-use furniture in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. Additionally, metals can have special properties, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Care Instructions

• MDF: Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed, then dry thoroughly. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so protect it from water and wipe any spills immediately. Avoid strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the surface.
• Sintered Stone: For daily cleaning, use a damp cloth or sponge with warm water to remove dust and stains. For stubborn stains, use mild pH-neutral cleaners. Avoid strong chemical or abrasive cleaners. For greasy stains, a water-and-soap solution is usually sufficient. If necessary, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol can be used.

• Metal:
  • For indoor metal furniture, regular dusting or wiping with a damp cloth is recommended.
  • For outdoor metal furniture:
    1. Apply a protective cream available at most retail stores for longer-lasting protection.
    2. If the furniture has been treated and powder-coated, it will be highly durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.
    3. If it has not been powder-coated, keep it away from water and humidity. Cover it with protective covers, and if possible, store it indoors during winter.
    4. If rust appears, remove it with turpentine, then apply an anti-rust varnish before repainting with oxidation-resistant paint.
